This walk will have us wandering along parts of the Doolittle Brook between Shutesbury Road and Teawaddle Hill Road, in one of the larger conservation areas in Leverett. We will be walking through different sections of town-owned conservation areas and looking at any plants, trees and wildlife we can find while on the walk. This area forms a remarkably varied habitat and is linked by a network of trails. The trails provide an opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife and native plants.
There will be no lunch stop along the walk. Please bring lots of water and snacks to tie you over. Binoculars are good for looking at the trees and wildlife we might see. And be prepared for possible changing weather. There are no rest rooms here. The trip is not handicapped accessible.
Registration available after 4/16.
