Learn about strategies for adopting clean, renewable energy such as solar, and for wasting less heat and electricity at home. And get the buzz about electric vehicles. 1st class: Clean, renewable solar power and solar hot water for your home Would you like solar power and/or solar hot water for your home, but you're not sure if you can afford them? This class will cover solar options, requirements, and incentives and loans that make these clean, renewable energy systems more affordable. 2nd class: Get the most out of your solar and lower wasted energy in your home Waste less energy and get the most out of your solar systems by learning about a range of energy saving strategies for your home, such as prioritizing weatherization measures, exploring efficient new systems for heating and cooling, and finding incentives for these energy upgrades. 3rd class: Electric cars are hitting the road Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more popular, with prices dropping, big incentives available, and electric driving ranges increasing. Get the buzz on what cars are available, how to match an EV with your driving needs, how to charge an EV at home and on the road, matching solar power with EV charging use, charging with the lowest impact on climate change, avoiding range anxiety, and taking advantage of a big incentive for EVs that is not well known.
