 Course description
For outdoor enthusiasts who have always wanted to know more about trees. Learn to identify, using leaves, buds, bark, and other factors, and gain an appreciation of how various trees relate to the wildlife, humans, and the landscape. Bring your field guide(s) or come find out which one suits your needs and preferences. No previous knowledge necessary.
Instructor: Walker Korby
Course time(s): CSW 194-2: W, 6:30-8:30 pm, 4/29 & 5/6 and Sunday field trip, 9:00 am-1:00 pm, 5/10, 3 sessions
Feature 10 This class will give you the tools necessary to see the forest AND the trees! Come away with a deeper connection and understanding of your local tree species. Two classroom sessions and a field trip.
