Records from the 1940 census were released in April, and valuable information concerning migration and education that was not asked in previous years is now available. The census records are one of the most valuable tools available to genealogists. We'll take a look at the range of questions asked in the Federal Census, where those records are stored, how to access them, as well as other similar records collected by states and municipalities, and other countries including Canada and Ireland.
