Learn the basics of storytelling for comics and web comics from a former writer, artist and Editor at Marvel Comics. Both traditional media (pencils and ink) and digital tools like Photoshop and Paint will be covered. By the end of the class, you will have the tools to create and post your own digital online comic.

Students should know drawing work is expected to be completed between classes, for in-class usage and discussion. I can provide paper, pencils and ink. We can scan files in class, but students should be prepared with their owen portable media (flashdrives, or external hard drives) to take materials with them digitally. Part of the discussion will be what materials (wacom tablets, scanners, brushes, paper) students may wish to purchase on their own.
