Course description
For those with a basic knowledge of the computer and with the Microsoft Office Suite. Learn how to create, format, store, and print documents and tables. Liven up your documents with colors, patterns, and fonts, and create mailing labels. Learn the dos and don'ts of working with graphics. Create a basic database in Excel, and download from the web. All computer classes are taught using MS Windows 7 and running MS Office 10 software. For these classes we do not use Macintosh OS.

Designed for people with a basic knowledge of the computer This course is for a beginning user (or someone who wants to learn a few new tricks) with the Microsoft Office Suite. You will learn how to create documents, set up margins and fonts, store documents, print documents, and do basic formatting of the documents and set up tables. Using the Word program as our basis, we will liven up our documents with colors, patterns, and different font, and create mailing labels. We will explore the use of graphics (both in written documents and sending via email) and learn the do’s and don’ts of working with graphics on a very basic level. See how easy it is to create a basic database of names in Excel that you can use for contacts. We will download both information and photos from the web and learn how to create documents where we will save them for future use.
