AyreCraft is comprised of Donald Cotter (tenor), Margaret Pash (lute and viola da gamba), and Robert Castellano (lute and theorbo). The group was formed by Cotter and Castellano as a voice and lute duo in 2006 and became a trio when Pash joined in 2013. While AyreCraft specializes in the lute song repertoire of England as well as the traditional ballads of the British Isles, the trio also performs continental music of the Renaissance and early Baroque periods. Their program will consist of English music of the Tudor and Elizabethan eras, including the lute songs of John Dowland, Thomas Campion, and Phillip Rosseter, as well as selections from the early Scottish repertoire. The instruments they will play – and discuss—are close replicas of those used during the periods.

Donald Cotter, Margaret Pash, and Robert Castellano are all full-time teachers. Cotter chairs the Chemistry Department at Mount Holyoke College; Pash directs the choruses and teaches guitar at Palmer High School; and Castellano is a music teacher with the Amherst-Pelham Elementary Schools.

This program will take place at All Souls Church 399 Main St, Greenfield.
